Our next Sundays at Three talk takes place in the Abbey on Sunday 28th July at 3pm. The talk is on the History of Sanitation, or ‘How We Used to Go’.
The talk will be given by Revd Tony Redman, Associate Priest in the Blackbourne Team Ministry near Bury St Edmunds. His interest in sanitation came from noticing how many innovations had been introduced by clergy – keen to improve social health. He has recently been collecting coloured toilet suites, noticing how they had (sadly?) gone out of fashion.
Entry is free, with a retiring collection in aid of Abbey funds. Refreshments will be available after the talk.
