Young Daniel Ayers is a musician with a mission – to inspire others with a love of organ music that he has cherished since childhood. His next recital on the grand organ of Wymondham Abbey will be on 27th July, now celebrated as ‘Norfolk Day’. That is certainly appropriate as Daniel is Norfolk born and bred. His family, too, have a long association with the Abbey choir where both his parents, his grandmother, two aunts, an uncle, a cousin and his younger sister have all sung over the years.
Last year Daniel won a coveted organ scholarship to Royal Holloway College, University of London, where he has just completed his first year of a music degree.
